This quilt was inspired by the Kaleidoscopes that I used to play with as a kid. Do you remember the colours and shapes that they used to make?
This modern quilt has been designed to allow you to explore techniques for making Half Square Triangles and Flying Geese. Detailed step by step instructions are included making this suitable as an adventurous beginner’s quilt pattern.
The Kaleidoscope Quilt can be made in two sizes. Both have the same design, construction method and number of blocks. What differs between the two quilts are the size of the blocks used. This quilt is simple to make and comes together with ease.
Quilt can be made in two sizes:
Throw: 72" x 72" / 183cms x 183cms
Queen: 96" x 96" / 244cms x 244cms
