The Dutchman's Puzzle is a traditional quilt block that first appeared in the late 1800s. Also known as Dutchman's Wheel or Wild Goose Chase, it is an easy and quick-to-make pattern that uses the 4-at-a-time Flying Geese method.
Step by step instructions are included making this suitable as an adventurous beginner’s quilt pattern.
A Layer Cake (10" squares) or Fat Quarters can be used to make this modern quilt interpretation of the classic Flying Geese block.
Quilt can be made in four sizes:
Small Throw: 56" x 74" / 142cms x 188cms
Large Throw: 74" x 74" / 188cms x 188cms
Double: 74" x 92" / 188cms x 234cms
Queen: 92" x92" / 234cms x 234cms
