Straw or milliner’s needles are fine and flexible. The long shank and small round eye make them perfect for hand stitching as they can carry the thread smoothly through the cloth. They are favoured by many quilters for English paper piecing and applique. They are also the needle of choice for tacking, stitching pleats, bullion stitch embroidery and beading. Made in France from nickel-plated steel.
Needle Size: 8, 9 or 10

I’ve read through the pattern and looking forward to using my unused fabric leftovers for it depending on patch sizes. I don’t have a theme for it yet but I’ll see what happens. I’m sure it will be a surprise.
