The Flying Geese 4 at a Time or No Waste Method allows you to make multiple flying Geese quickly and easily. As the name suggests the steps below will allow you to make 4 Flying Geese at a time.
This method is best used when you need to make lots of Flying Geese. The downside is that you are limited in the ability to control the direction of the fabric. If the direction of the fabric is important then the Stitch and Flip method would work best.

Steps to Make Flying Geese - 4 at a Time
Step 1: Draw a diagonal line across the wrong side of all small squares.
Take 1 - large square and 2 - small squares. Place the small squares on the large square lining up with diagonally opposite corners. Make sure the diagonal drawn lines are aligned. Pin the squares in place.
Step 2: Sew a scant quarter inch seam to either side of the drawn line, then cut from corner to corner along the drawn line.
Step 3: Press the small triangles away from the background piece.
Now add a small square to the bottom left corner of each partial FG unit, aligning the edges. Pin the square in place.
Step 4: Sew a scant quarter inch seam to either side of the drawn line, then cut from corner to corner along the drawn line. Press the small triangles away from the background piece.
Step 5: Trim the FG unit to the required unfinished size.
